New for 2006, The ASCAP Foundation Irving Berlin Summer Camp Scholarship has been created to honor the name and legacy of the American songwriter, Irving Berlin who wrote such classics as "God Bless America" and "White Christmas." This scholarship makes a summer music camp experience possible for a young music creator who may otherwise not have this opportunity. The ASCAP Foundation Irving Berlin Summer Camp Scholarship is funded by a gift from the Irving Berlin Charitable Fund, Inc.
