Actor/Director Sam Jaeger & NaFF Award Winner Jordan Beckett Visit ASCAP

(l-r): Jordan Beckett, ASCAP's LeAnn Phelan, and Sam Jaeger

ASCAP songwriter Jordan Beckett and actor/director/filmmaker Sam Jaeger recently stopped by the ASCAP Nashville office. Beckett’s band, Bootstraps, provided the soundtrack to the feature film Take Me Home, which was written, produced and directed by Jaeger. The film is screening and winning awards at several film festivals across the country. Bootstraps won the Naxos Award for Best Film Music at the 2011 Nashville Film Festival, and Take Me Home has been selected from over 1000 films to receive the Golden Ace Award at the 2011 Las Vegas Film Festival. Take Me Home is going to the Boston, Chicago, Albuquerque, Rhode Island, Brooklyn and Las Vegas Int'l Film festivals this summer and fall.

In addition to Take Me Home, Bootstraps' music has also been featured on the TV show No Ordinary Family and will be heard in several TV shows and films later this year. Be sure to check out the new issue of Hydrogen magazine, hitting newsstands this week for an in-depth interview with Beckett.
