ASCAP AND RMLC AGREEMENT

The industry-wide license agreement negotiated between ASCAP and the Radio Music License Committee (RMLC) for the period January 1, 2001 to December 31, 2009 will soon expire. Stations that are represented by the RMLC for the period commencing January 1, 2010 will be licensed on an interim basis as of that date. Stations currently licensed by ASCAP under the 2001 - 2009 agreement are being offered an extension of that agreement, pending the outcome of negotiations with the RMLC or any decisions on this matter from the Rate Court.

Set forth below is the current agreement for the 2001 - 2009 license term, as well as the accompanying exhibits to the agreement. Also below is the form of extension license agreement that may be completed and returned by mail or to RadioLicensing2010@ascap.com for those stations currently licensed by ASCAP under the terms of the 2001 - 2009 agreement that have not yet authorized the RMLC to represent them for the period commencing January 1, 2010, and whose ASCAP accounts are current. Also below is a FAQ which may answer questions you may have. If you have any questions please feel free to call us at 800-99-ASCAP and / or the RMLC at 212-308-4311.
